How to set up GroupCamp Scheduling applications
This GroupCamp FAQ explains how to set up features and privileges for the Scheduling apps. Define privileges for Planners and Project managers.
In this article:
Go to the Admin panel, and click on the Scheduling icon.
This tab lets you enable or disable Scheduling tools in your account. Enabling Resource management is necessary to use Scheduling apps.
Indicate whether the work of new resources is scheduled automatically when a new resource is created.
Indicate whether the user has access to his/her personal schedule.
In the Schedule application located in the @ Me menu
All resources can access their scheduled work using the Schedule app in the @ Me menu. Indicate who has access to other users' schedules for viewing.
In the Schedule application of each project
In the applications of the Scheduling group
All group members can access all resources and all scheduled projects in read-only mode.
Project managers feature
When a project manager is a member of the Scheduling group, indicate whether they can only manage their own projects.
Planners can manage all resources and all project schedules.
They alone can manage resources' time off.
Indicate if planners can manage resources' roles and costs (which is recommended).
Use the List of colleagues privilege to add planners who are not administrators of your account.
Indicate who can add or remove members from the Scheduling group.
