Project Management with Dropbox and GroupCamp
This FAQ explains how you can use Dropbox with GroupCamp Project Management software to share files and folders in the your projects.
Note: The Dropbox feature needs to be enabled in the Admin panel of your GroupCamp account. To find out more, please read: Enable integrations: Box, Dropbox, Google, Microsoft.
In this article:
To use the Dropbox service, go in the Files application located in the @Me menu (you can also perform this operation in the Files app. of a group).
Click on the New file button, then select the Online Services button.
Click on the Dropbox icon. The following window will open up if you are not already signed into Dropbox,
In the following window, click on the button "Allow"
The connection is established between GroupCamp Project Management and Dropbox. The New File window has already registered your Dropbox account, you can navigate in your Dropbox folders.
1. Search a Dropbox file
2. The folders breadcrumb allows you to go through the Dropbox folder tree.
3. You can share a link to a Dropbox folder in GroupCamp
4. You can share a link or import a Dropbox file in GroupCamp
Imported files are counted in your GroupCamp account storage quota.
Note: Access rights on shared links in GroupCamp are set up in Dropbox.
To disconnect Dropbox in GroupCamp, click on the @Me menu, then select the Preferences application, click on the Integrations menu.
Use the Disconnect link.
