How to upgrade or downgrade your current GroupCamp plan
This article explains how to upgrade or downgrade your current GroupCamp plan.

To change your plan, you need to be the Owner of your account and be signed into GroupCamp.
Go in the Admin panel, then in the Owner section
Click on the Manage My Account icon.
To change plans, click on Upgrade or Downgrade.
Note: You need to have a form of payment already registered in your account in order to upgrade. This particular rule does not apply when you are doing a free GroupCamp trial.
Click on Upgrade as shown above then follow the 4 steps described below:
1. Select a new plan.
2. Confirm your change of plan
Your pro forma invoice with the amount due will be presented so that you may check all your billing information (address, currency, VAT etc...)
If you are in the FREE plan, the subscription is for a full month in the selected new plan.
If you have an existing paid subscription, the amont due is calculated and is pro rated to the number of remaining days in the month. The amount already paid for the previous plan is subtracted.
The form of payment is then presented with the amount due.
You then need to confirm the payment.
4. Confirmation of your plan upgrade
Once your payment is accepted, you will receive an email receipt followed by another email with the invoice.
An upgrade may take a few minutes to become effective in your account. You will receive an email once the upgrade is effective.
This operation can be effective immediately. If your current subscription is paid, we recommend that you do the downgrade as close as possible to the end of the monthly term so that you make the most of the month already paid for. GroupCamp does not provide any refund for services already paid for.
Click on the Downgrade link.
Select your new plan, then move to the next confirmation step.
Click on Ok to confirm
To downgrade to a lower plan, you need to be within the limits of the lower plan in terms of total number of projects in your account and the storage capacity used.
For example, to be able to downgrade to the START plan, you need to have:
- Less than 15 active projects in your account. (See also reducing the number of projects)
- Less than 4GB of used storage.
You can downgrade once you go below the quota for a plan.

For security reasons, the GroupCamp support team cannot delete a customer account with a simple email request. Only the Owner of the account can perform this operation by being signed into the account.

No. GroupCamp services are paid in advance. You will not be refunded for any unused paid subscription. To make the most of your monthly plan, we recommend you to downgrade at the end of your paid month, before the anniversary date. (Please note that downgrades are effective immediately)
