How to know who downloaded a file, viewed a document or a link
This FAQ explains how to find out who has viewed or downloaded a file in your GroupCamp: Files, Links and Google Drive, Box, Microsoft OneDrive or Dropbox docs.
This information is only available to colleagues in your account. Your guests do not have access.
In the Files application's folders, the Recent access requests to the file icon is displayed when a file has been viewed or downloaded.
Everywhere in your GroupCamp, click on a file to open its Information Panel.
- When there is no icon, the file has not been viewed or downloaded.
- The presence of the icon means that there were access requests to the file.
- When the icon has a check, it means that you have viewed or downloaded the file.
Click on the icon to open this window.
The list of users is updated when a connected user:
- Click on a file link (Web page link, Internet video link, Google Drive docs, Microsoft OneDrive files, Box or Dropbox file links).
- Download a file.
- Use Preview on a file.
The list of users is also updated when a user does the same actions in a notification email.
When a user downloads severals files in a ZIP file, each file is noted as having been accessed by the user.
