How to control gadget visibility in Gmail for G Suite users
This FAQ explains how you can control the visibility of the GroupCamp gadget in Gmail for your G Suite users.
Once you install GroupCamp or any other Marketplace application in your G Suite domain, all users of that domain can see the gmail contextual gadget and have a link to the application under the 'More' menu of the navigation bar in G Suite:
The Google G Suite Admin console allows you to control the visibility of Marketplace applications such as GroupCamp.
Control visibility using organizations (Service ON/OFF)
In the Apps page of your G Suite Admin console, select the Marketplace apps.
Then select the GroupCamp Services
If you only want specific organizations to be aware of GroupCamp, you can use organizations in your G Suite domain to manage visibility by disabling GroupCamp for users of organizations who are not using it.
Service ON/OFF is different from Authentication and Authorization
Please note that using the Services tab to enable or disable GroupCamp for specific organizations does not mean that the authentication of the user will not work of they try to sign into GroupCamp using their G Suite ID. Service ON/OFF only controls visiblity but not authentication and Authorization. A user can have the gadget and the link in the 'More' menu disabled for his or her organization but still sign into GroupCamp and synchronize with Google Calendar.
