There are a number of reasons why owners would need to block all access to account users irrespective of the projects they are in. This is now possible for Account Owners. Go to the account and allow or block all user access to your account.
With our standard uploader you could not upload multiple files with one selection when the files browser pops up. After numerous discussions on the right implementation for this, we have now added an Adobe flash plug-in which makes this possible (finally !). This is something heavy Files users have been asking for some time now. We hope you'll all enjoy multiple file uploads.
Members of your project are often on remote sites or even in different time zones. There's a good chance you've uploaded a file and wanted to be sure whether your colleagues have downloaded it. This is now possible with the indicator for recent download attempts in Files. Obviously if you don't want to use this, you can disable it in the Files settings page.
For Project Managers and Administrators. Application settings get a quick access button in the top menu bar.
As many of you know we are committed at GroupCamp to keeping our User Interface as simple as possible. So as we add more and more features to our applications, we leave it to our customers to decide whether they want to activate those new features. So the applications settings page is bound to become very useful to Administrators and Managers. The idea with the new Settings button is to make it easier for them to access the Applications settings.
For heavy users of GroupCamp’s notification emails, email subjects can be particularly long if your project name is very long. By default ll email subjects bear a label based on the following format [Name of managing company for the project > Name of the project].
This means the event which generated the email, for example a comment on a task is not displayed in the subject or only partially.
We are introducing Types in Tasks to allow customers to cross reference tasks across task lists. This gives project leaders a different perspective on their projects. Going beyond that, if you are using types with time estimates, you can have a view of your tasks listed by type with a sum of the time estimates for each type.
For examples of how to use Types read the following article in our FAQ
You are probably using Timelog to enter records for the time spent on your assigned tasks. What was missing until now was the ability to plan ahead by estimating the time for each task. If your times estimates are accurate, setting milestones for your project will also be more accurate. The other benefit is that if the hours spent are billable, then time estimates will help you determine the right pricing.

Unless you are using projects for day-to-day business operations, you often find yourself with projects which have a limited life span. You can be much more efficient if only active projects are displayed in your account. Deleting the project is never the right solution since you don't want to use the project's content. What you need is the 'Archived Projects' feature, available to administrators in the Administrator section.
