Project Management with Google Apps™ and GroupCamp Project

To manage your projects with Google Docs, you can create Google Docs files directly from GroupCamp Project and add comments and tasks linked to your Google Docs files. All your project members can access their files from the online projects or from the email notifications sent out to followers. You can also manage multiple versions fo your Google Docs files and use GroupCamp's powerful comment system to send out notifications about files updates.

GroupCamp Project allows you to have all your assigned tasks and milestones synced with Google Calendar. GroupCamp allows you to choose which Google Apps Calendar you want to sync. When tasks are created in a Project and assigned to a user the Google Calendar which the user has decided to sync is updated in real time. GroupCamp Project also takes into account the status of tasks and milestones. Once assigned tasks and milestones are completed they are removed from the Google Calendar.

You can also create a specific Google Calendar from the GroupCamp Project interface then share it with all Google Apps users. If all project managers sync their assigned tasks with that shared project calendar, it will hold all the tasks and milestones of the project.

GroupCamp project allows account administrators to browse their Google Contacts and invite them to join online projects. This allows an easier invitation process without having to search for the emails of users to invite. You simply have to enter the names of your project members, clients or partners and if they are present in your Google Contacts you can invite them to join with a simple click. This is particularly useful when inviting clients to collaborate in online projects.
