How to create tasks and assign users in a project
GroupCamp's online task management tool allows you to assign tasks to one or more members and control the task’s progress.
The tasks are organized by task list and each task can be updated, completed or deleted. When assigning tasks you can assign one or more project members to the task and link it to a file present in the Files application.
You can also add a time estimate on a task (in days or hours) so that the assignee knows how much time to spend on a task. A task can have a start date and a due date. If you have defined milestones in your project you can use the milestone as the due date for all tasks in a list by linking the task list to a milestone. Once the tasks have been created, you can add followers on the tasks so that all comments are sent by email to all followers on a task. Followers can reply directly to the emails to update the thread of comments on a task. The Tasks application also comes with multiple views. The Planning view for instance allows you to see all tasks with start dates or due dates in a calendar view. The Gantt view will visually illustrate all the upcoming tasks and milestones in a project by taking the start and finish dates for each task and milestone.
