Timelog application. Project Time Tracking management. Follow time spent in a project. Follow-up and reporting capabilities
The Timelog application gives you the ability to track time in your projects. You can display time spent over a week, a month or a specific period. You can also generate custom reports and export records in Excel or CSV.
In GroupCamp Project, there are two applications dedicated to time tracking management:
- The Timelog application. This application is available in all projects.
- The Timesheet application. This application can be used by users who are members of the Tracking group.
Users can quickly record time spent
1) on tasks in a project 2) in the Timelog application of a project 3) In the Timesheet application.
The Timesheet application allows users to browse through time spent across all their projects and use custom reports.
Managers have different ways to track and check time spent by other users in a project
In the project: 1) In the Timelog application 2) In the Tasks application: by checking tasks and thanks to the Gantt view menu option 3) In the Overview application thanks to the project summary figures and graphs.
For all the projects they are responsible for 1) With the Timesheet application 2) With the Reports application located in the project's dashboard
Time spent can be recorded in days (d) or hours (h) depending on your project's settings. You can convert days in hours (by default 1 day = 10 hours). To learn more, please read this FAQ.
