Personal project settings: Set your date format and your first day of the week
For all our users in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and in all other European countries where the date format cas mm/dd/yyyy, we now allow for every user to choose their own date format in their account. This comes as a new tab in the personal settings section where, as you know, you can already 1) choose the settings for your weekly email report for assigned tasks and milestones, 2) sync with your Google Calendar 3) add authorizations to access your Gmail or Google Account.
The screenshot below shows the last section of the personal settings section where you can set your date format and choose your first day of the week.
The default setting in English is to have a first day of the week set to Monday. And the date format is set to mm/dd/yyyy.
You can change this if you are based in a country using UK formats or even switch to yyyy/mm/dd if you use Japanese formats for dates. Once this is set, your dates in Tasks, Milestones, Timelog or Timesheets for instance will use the right format.
Based on your choice for the first date of the week, the calendar views in the various date pickers will be updated accordingly.
