How to update multiple time records in a project?
This GroupCamp FAQ explains you how to update time spent records in the Timelog application of a project.
In this article, we will cover the following:
In the Timelog application of a project, you can update several records.
Select your view: Week or Month.
With your mouse, select the records you wish to update (Use the shortcut Ctrl + A to select all the recordings at once) then use the right click of your mouse to display the contextual menu. You can also use the buttons displayed in the Timelog application.
With the selected records, you can:
- Change the record date
- Change the timelog category
- Check or uncheck the billable case
- Delete records
Only authorized users can access this feature.
Click on the Admin panel, go in the Project folder then click on the Timelog icon if your project is set to Centralized settings. If your project is set to Customized settings per group, go in a group, open the group settings window, click on the Applications tab and click on the Timelog application (see example below).
Decide which user type is authorized to access the feature: "View - Create - Update - Delete".
