How to set up cross-project dashboard applications?
This GroupCamp FAQ explains how to set up the Tasks and Reports applications located in the cross-project Dashboard menu.
Go to the Admin panel,
> click on the Project folder, then click on the Dashboard icon.
Tasks (Access to the All tasks menu)
View tasks assigned to the members of my projects
Decide which users can access the tasks of all projects of which they are members. These users can select members and see their tasks.
Note: you can give this access only to a Management team for all your project managers.
View all tasks assigned to all users in all projects - Select users in the My completed tasks menu - Select users in the My Gantt view menu
Decide which users can access tasks in all projects, even projects of which they are not members. This feature allows the viewing of all tasks of all users using the All projects filter.
This feature also allows the selecting of users to view their completed tasks or their Gantt view.
Please note that this feature allows users to view tasks in projects of which they are not a member. It does not allow for them to be modified.
Reassign tasks and milestones
This privilege protects access to the Reassign tasks and milestones feature for all active projects of a user. You can access this feature using the Actions menu of the Dashboard.
Generate project reports
This feature allows authorized users to generate reports for projects of which they are members.
Generate reports for all projects
This feature allows selected users to generate reports for all projects in the account (even if they are not members of those projects).
