What are the possible usage of user rights for the task applications?
We have described below examples of how you can assign specific rights to specific users based on their roles:
If in a project you do not want your customers to be active in terms of content edition (adding tasks, uploading files) but only have visual access to the project content, you can grant addition and edition rights to users of the Primary Company only.
You may also want users of an outside company to be able to do more. You can allow them for example to edit tasks without being able to delete them.
Of course you can always grant the same permissions to users of the Primary Company and those of outside companies. To be able to do that, choose ‘All members’ in assigning user rights for each feature.
Please note also that you can decide to grant permissions within your company only to Managers and not to every user. For example, in a given project, the creation of task lists can be reserved only for Managers and not every regular user. This can help in preventing your project from having too many lists.

What are time estimates? How do I use them? How is the sum of time stimates calculated? Can I change the unit of time estimates?
Time estimates are a way of estimating the workload of a project per task list or per task priority level.
Please note that the time estimates feature is optional in a task list. To enable or disable a feature please refer to Enabling an optional feature.
Please note that the sum of time estimates is calculated for a task list whenever that task list is displayed. The sum is not stored on our servers. The sum of times estimâtes for a task list does not take into account completed tasks in that list.
The unit of time used for times estimates is the unit defined for the whole project. The same unit is therefore used for the Timelog application for time records.
Please note that if you change the time unit, the previous time estimated will not be converted. The time unit is only an indication to users.
