Do you have a video tutorial for the Discussions App?
Yes. Please click on the following link for a video tutorial of Discussions.
I replied to an email notification and my email was rejected. Why is that?
Your mail software or service (for example Mircosoft® Outlook, Mozilla® Thunderbird, Google® Gmail, etc…) has used another email address (in the reply-from field) which is not listed in your account. You therefore need to add all your email addresses to the list of “additional emails” in the ‘My details’ page.
Please note also that this problem may arise because you are no longer a member of the project.
Why do I need to follow a discussion? Who can follow a discussion? I do not receive any email notifications when a discussion is updated. Why is that?
To receive email notifications when discussions are updated, you need to follow the discussion. For that, click on the Follower icon next to a discussion then check your name in the list of possible followers.
You can also choose to add other followers to a discussion.
Why and how do I sort topics and discussions within a topic?
Sorting topics and discussions allow you to choose which discussion to display at the top of the list when users access the application. You can sort topics by clicking on the ‘Sort all topics’ link.
To sort discussions within a topic, click on the cross icon in the list of buttons which appear when hovering on a discussion. Then drag and drop to the desired position.
How do I get a view of the level activity for a discussion in terms of the number of comments?
You can use the options on the right to see which discussions have been updated recently: in the last 4 hours, 12 hours, day or 7 days.
You can also use the Overview application.
