Create and invite users to join a project. In the Members app, manage all users in your project.

If you are the manager of a project and not an Administrator of the account, you can only manage companies which are present in that project. Managers cannot access the list of all companies which are in the account.
This explains why a manager cannot remove a company from a project and add it again to the project at a later time unless you are the Officer of that Company (the Officer rôle is granted by Administrators).
Please note also that, as a manager you can remove a company from a project except yours

I have invited a user to join a project, will that person be receiving email notifications?
Yes, that user is already considered as being active. You can start assigning tasks to that project member. They will receive email notifications from GroupCamp.
