The company
GroupCamp is a privately-funded business founded in 2008 in Paris(France). The goal of the co-founders is to build simple but powerful applications to help businesses work better by making the most of web-based software.
The team
All GroupCamp products are homegrown and are developed by a team of highly qualified engineers who can handle sophisticated challenges in diverse areas such as UI/UX design, billing, APIs, high-availability and scalable platforms. The GroupCamp Marketing and R&D teams are not exactly what you would call photogenic. We are still looking for a group picture that does not shy away clients. The founders
The founders Dickel Sooriah and Eric Hassid come from the IT, software and telecoms space with a strong track record in 1) high-tech product engineering 2) large-scale customer service 3) high availability platform operations.
The vision
Crafting a product that's easy to use
This is the main goal of the GroupCamp product team. We invest in User Interface(UI) designs and resources that will shorten the learning curve of our users.
All our new features are documented in our FAQ section. We communicate with users on our blog or our notification system that displays important information directly into your account.
Quality in your customer experience
Because we know that expectations are high, our support team has the capability to address all types of queries, from product and billing issues, to roadmap and best practice questions.
Extracting value and bringing new features.
GroupCamp manages one single product track and even though we do not develop custom plug-ins, we grow with the feature requests of our customers.
Designing an on-demand platform means constantly obsessing about the needs of our users in the way they work. We have short feature design cycles and rather long battery of tests.
Our challenge is to always come back with unit features that bring value while keeping the level of usability of our products. This is why every new feature can be enabled on-demand.
Helping our customers scale and accompanying their growth
GroupCamp products are designed to help businesses scale. Our offerings come with multiple plans to allow customers to find the right sizing for their needs and you actually need.
Because collaboration goes beyond company borders, our products can natively support multiple companies. Scaling also involves delegation. GroupCamp comes with advanced rights and privileges to help account owners delegate.
